Why Is My First Payment on Hold? | Paywint Card Payment Security

Why is my first payment using a new card on hold?

When you make your first payment using a new card added to Paywint, the system temporarily holds the transaction until our intelligent system successfully settles it.

This security measure applies only to the first payment made with a new card. From the second payment onward, funds will be settled instantly.

During this short holding period, your available balance may appear lower, but this is completely normal. It’s a standard banking precaution designed to protect your account and funds from unauthorized transactions and fraud.
